UTAS Malaysian Students' Society (MSS) is a non-profit organisation based in the University of Tasmania (Hobart campus) that not only welcomes and brings together Malaysians in Tasmania but also promotes the Malaysian cultures to local Tasmanians, creating a warm, diverse and multicultural community. We aim to give you an opportunity to experience University life from a fresh different perspective while retaining a strong sense of home during your stay in Tasmania, and the chance to get out of your comfort zone and create new connections and friends. At MSS, we strive to be your family away from family and your home away from home. We organise various events throughout the year and provide members with copious benefits through numerous sponsorships. We hope our efforts in providing support and resources enable our members to have a smooth transition into student life here in Australia.
