It seeks to implement fundamental changes in governmental policies, laws, and incentives with the mission to encourage and empower women. - The Uttar Pradesh, Anti - Sexual Harassment Council is comprised of a robust team, with its members working towards spreading awareness and sensitizing the masses about the evil of sexual harassment and the laws dealing with the same while working with government bodies and institutions for advocacy and representation. Our vision:- Sexual Harassment does not discriminate. It is an evil that knows no boundaries, no gender, no age group, no culture.- It is our endeavor to generate awareness about this issue and create a safe place where anyone and everyone can talk about Sexual Harassment, irrespective of age, gender, or any other socio-economic barrier, without any fear of being judged.- To make society empathetic about Sexual Harassment, to recognise Sexual Harassment, and to create mechanisms to eliminate Sexual Harassment.- To sensitize people about the physical, mental, and social effects of sexual harassment.- To spread awareness about laws related to Anti-Sexual Harassment including IPC, POSH Act, POCSO Act, Rights of Transgender persons, and other allied laws.
