Civic & Social Organization - Medford, Massachusetts, United States
Unitarian Universalists have long been at the forefront of addressing pressing social justice issues. UU Class Conversations works with congregations and organizations and thousands of UUs nationwide to confront classism, a prime factor in today's growing economic and social inequality. Our faith community is at a critical tipping point. As we work to explore our own class backgrounds and address classism in our institutions and in the wider community, we will deepen our spiritual connections and become more class-inclusive. Our congregational and denominational life and our work for social justice will thrive.
