Every day, there are more than 9,500 diagnoses of skin cancer in the United States. This means there are more cases of skin cancer than all other cancers combined. The most upsetting part: skin cancer is the most preventable type of cancer.Unfortunately, most people who are most genetically vulnerable to developing skin cancer do not have the proper resources to protect themselves, and just five bad sunburns can more than double a person's chances of developing skin cancer later in life. UV Sense, an Ultraviolet-detecting Wearable Sensor, aims to change this.
