UX Fest SLO Details
UX Fest SLO is a student-run event designed to promote UX's presence at Cal Poly. Established in 2020, this inaugural event bridges the gap between user experience and college students. We will provide up to 200 students with opportunities to learn while creating in an inclusive environment. Over the course of two-weekends, UX Fest will feature workshops, presentations, mentors, and competitions to aid students in gaining hands-on experience with UX. The first-weekend kicks-off with speakers and panels catering to introducing beginning participants to user experience, wrapping-up with the announcement of the competition's prompt. Up to 50 teams of 4 problem solvers will then collaborate on a 1-week project that will be presented during the final weekend of UX Fest SLO.
