Founded in 2018 by Nikolai Kazimirov in Kiev, Ukraine. Partnership in Europe & Asia for High-Density Current Collector Carbon Coating Technology (HD4CT) for manufacturing of electro-chemical energy storage devices (batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells) and their major components (current collectors & electrodes)Research & Development and Engineering in Energy Storage Systems (ESS) industry using vacuum technology & magnetron sputtering to manufacture:- Current Collectors (Al & Cu) with high-density carbon сoating to provide extremely low internal contact resistance, high adhesion and corrosion resistance and reduce degradation of cells- Electrodes based on new Current Collectors, existing active materials (NCA, NMC, etc.) and new cell design combinations including lithium-metal, lithium-sulphur, lithium-titanate, solid-state, etc.- Prototypes of coin and pouch cells with higher energy density (>400 Wh/kg), longer lifetime (4x more charge-discharge cycles), reduced costs of manufacturing and energy storage- R2R vacuum equipment with magnetrons for seamless integration into existing and new LIB cells manufacturing lines- R&D for Next Generation Battery Cells (e.g. lithium-sulphur, lithium-titanate, solid-state, lithium-metal anode, etc.)High-Density Current Collector Carbon Coating Technology (HD4CT) is a patented invention by Nikolai Kazimirov and property of Vacuum Carbon Technologies (VCT).
