Vadodara Innovation Council is the first-and-only-city-based Innovation Council in India. Established in 2011, it was affiliated to the then National Innovation Council. The dynamic organization is a section 25 registered companies as 'not-for-profit'. It promotes the culture of Innovation and Curiosity in Vadodara region. In Apr 2019, it has successfully completed year-long project of Tod-Fod-Jod at 12 schools educating 600 students on 10 different and interesting gadgets. Shri Sonam Wangchuk, an innovator from Ladakh was a chief guest for Tod-Fod-Jod Fest 2019 organized at Vadodara. It orgnanizes InnoTalk, a monthly series of interaction with innovators, entrepreneurs and change agents since 2011.
