I finished my masters, and I started my own company: Vagabond Tiny Homes. This company seeks to redefine the concept of a tiny home. No more rustic, bare-bone, amateur-assembled design and construction- we aim to make works of art as much as houses, more technologically integrated than any home available to the general public, built by our Calgary Community for the betterment of society and our perceptions of the "good life". Sustainable, affordable, community-building, and near-energy-neutral, catering to all and not just the wealthy, for we are all aiming to have a home and a home should be in reach of all of us. We hope to partner with the spectacular artists coming out of ACAD, proportionate and passionate tradespeople coming from SAIT, and graduates of advanced housing technology in sustainable environmental design. We at Vagabond Tiny Homes are building the most efficient and technologically advanced tiny-home available in North America. Solar-Cell fitted (AC/DC), Smart-Home Interactive Technology Standard, Re-Circulating Smart-Air-Filtration (Ion Capture & HEPA), Fully Automated Climate Control, Advanced Ultra-Efficient Appliances, Life-Adjustable Adaptable Home Layout and, Audio/Visual Home Interaction Systems (adaptable interface for those who are either hearing or visually impaired). We seek to challenge the American Dream and its excess. we seek to build homes for individuals (couples) who would rather travel than pay a mortgage, who seek the most out of life and reject the trappings of unwavering materialistic gains, who want to live in real and authentic community again, and who ultimately want take a stand against environmental depletion and destruction.
