We are a creative tech company who bring engaging interactive experiences to life in physical spaces. Our team are passionate about creating software products that enable our customers to bring their stories and experiences to life in more compelling and impactful ways for their audience.We work across multiple sectors in a wide range of applications including education, tourism, health, retail, culture and more.We are a Māori and Pasifika owned tech company who chose the name VAKA after the ancient ships our Polynesian ancestors developed. These amazing innovations were built using nothing more than trees, stones and plants by a people who used pracitcal and obersational science in the natural enviornment around them. Not only were they able to engineer these incredible vessels, but they also discovered a way to navigate them across the largest and most dangerous ocean in the world.Today, we follow their example by venturing out into unknown waters, steering our way through the ever developing world of interactive technology, using modern software innovation that we have built. VAKA represents our journey of discovery and connection to each other as Māori and Pasifika people navigating the modern world.
