valcanale.net is a project created and managed by Valcanale Energia srl,holder of ministerial authorization for the management of the Internet connectivity service to individuals and businesses. The new networks created for valcanale.net make use of fiber optic cables that run along the valley bottom and reach the peaks of the Lussari Mountains, Florianca and Priesnig. More than 22 km of fiber optic cables and some radio bridges have been laid which have allowed us to complete and extend the distribution of the signal needed to connect to the Internet to almost the entire territory of the municipalities of the Val Canale. The valcanale.net network is completely independent from Telecom Italia and is directly connected to the Milan MIX through an international backbone.
