Valente Brothers Jiu-Jitsu is the official representation of the Creator of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Grandmaster Hélio Gracie, in Florida. Professors Pedro, Gui and Joaquim Valente started training directly under the Grandmaster at the tender age of 2 years old and were his loyal disciples and protégés until he passed away in January of 2009. At Valente brothers we are fully committed to preserving Hélio Gracies vision, teaching method and ideals both on and off the mat. Our mission is to provide the most effective self-defense instruction in the world by giving students the elements to defend themselves in real life, with no rules, no points and no time limits. We teach Jiu-Jitsu as a method of realistic self-defense and personal development and not a tournament sport as is the case in most Gracie/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gyms. Our system has three main objectives. Firstly, to teach the most powerful self defense method in the world as proven in the Original UFCs. Secondly, our sessions constitute one of the most complete forms of exercise in existence. And thirdly it represents an incalculable moral and educational value.
