History of the Company The company was founded in 1969 at Cuorgnè for automotive components machining; in 1986 it was moved to present plant at Torre Canavese, about 40 Km North of Turin and 15 Km West of Ivrea.In order to anticipate and meet precision products specifications in 1990's all machining capacity was upgraded with the installation of NC equipment like machining centers with vertical and/ or horizontal axis and CNC lathes.At the same time UNI EN ISO 9002 certification was achieved.In 2002, with the addition of further shop floor, present configuration was implemented. ISO/TS 16949 certification confirmed the validity of Valmeccanica Quality System.Last ISO/TS 16949 certificate is of the end of 2009.ActivityValmeccanica machining operations:- milling and drilling of exhaust pipes and manifolds, - machining of turbo compressor parts and collectors.MarketValmeccanica Customers are in the Automotive Market for both cars and commercial vehicles.Company Mission - Valmeccanica "Vision" is to be a reference supplier in machining sophisticated alloys as in turbo compressor applications. - Valmeccanica is available for machining materials either from customers' inventory or for being a Tier 1 supplier.
