Karaka Property Management Limited (KPM) is a real estate development, investment and management vehicle founded in 2012 by Simon Gusterson and Dominic Ryan to build on the successes of Karaka Developments Ltd (KDL) and offer a new shell to would-be investors. KDL was formed in 2004 and developed over £40m-worth of real estate in the UK, Switzerland and Poland. In the UK KDL concentrated on mixed-use development in London, particularly the City-borders between Islington, Shoreditch and Hackney, and in Poland we were lead developer on a £23m GDV development, www.loftykrakow.pl. We are well used to working with external private equity on a joint venture basis, and well-placed to take advantage of opportunities in the areas of London and Cambridge we are most familiar with. We are seeking equity investors to partner with us in developing a number of schemes in these areas: typical transaction size will be £2m to £3m and as such we will be seeking equity of £1m to £1.5m per deal.
