Founded in 1999, Varden Technologies, Inc. is a privately-held, Boston-based, investment technology firm with two business lines: proprietary software and technical consultancy. With over 100 eReportal deployments, Varden is an originator of the institutional client reporting software niche to remain US-based and independent. We offer a platform called eReportal, which is an auditable and workflow-driven client communications system. It provides interactive client reporting, dashboards and marketing content production, and focuses on firm-wide data aggregation/validation and content automation. From eReportal, the following sub-platforms exist: eReportalDeck, a pitchbook and marketing/sales content production and distribution platform that leverages data-driven PowerPoint, on-the-fly content assembly and interactive tablet-based presentations. Matrix, which is an open-ended data/process monitoring and alert escalation platform. xPortal is an open-ended, interface builder that allows click-drag-and-drop design and deployment of internal and client portals. And lastly, vMart, a customizable data warehouse powered by proprietary reporting and performance logic. It is an optional staging ground that focuses on third-form data to resolve inconsistent sourced data and handle complex downstream operations. Varden's consultancy includes technical analysis and custom development, as well as implementation of third-party portfolio accounting, trading, compliance, and performance attribution systems. We are "outsourced CTOs" as much as hands-on "data plumbers."
