Variety Tasmania is all about empowering Tasmanian children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs to live, laugh and learn. With the help of dedicated volunteers, and generous individual and corporate supporters, Variety offers freedom, care and a future to children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs. Freedom, through equipment providing mobility to those who need it most. Care, through the provision of medical assistance and family support and Future by supporting kids in educational, sporting or artistic endeavours and experiences.Variety provides grants to individuals and organisations for a great number of items such as special wheelchairs, vocal output speech devices, prosthetic limbs, special play equipment and liberty swings.Variety raises funds from a number of sources, from corporate partnership, to events, to donations - and to date we have delivered over $160 million net to help Australia's sick, disadvantaged and disabled children.
