Media Production - Paris, Texas, United States
Varnell Media Group started in 2013 when the owner started covering Tulsa High School sports with a cell phone and a borrowed point and shoot camera. From a groundswell of social media growth, he landed his first major contract, designing the digital footprint for a 7A high school athletic program in Oklahoma. From there, the work continued to expand, building a relationship with the local television market and expanding into college athletics. Currently, Varnell Media Group has covered College football, the NCAA NIT Men;s Basketball tournament, NCAA Baseball and College World Series playoffs, as well as NASCAR, the sprint car Chili Bowl Nationals, and many other events. VMG is currently opening their first studio, with a full sound studio, offering voice over, recording sessions, and music lessons. The venue, Studio 963 in Paris, AR is also a beautiful rental facility in the gallery, where the company's photography and videography work is on display. Add in a full client list with their marketing services and web design and you can see the transition that Varnell MEdia Group has gone through in their short history. Currently, they cover region sports action in Arkansas and Tulsa markets, and supply written, photo, and video media to multiple outlets in multiple languages as they cover the University of Arkansas sports.
