VASI is a international non-profit working with marginalized and rural communities as they empower themselves to create sustainable futures. Founded by nine rural communities in the Peruvian Amazon, students, and scientists, we are creating a network to help communities around the globe have access to the resources needed to implement local solutions and become powerful voices in global conversations. Our primary foci are on conserving vulnerable ecosystems and increasing quality of life. Our expertise is in supporting communities as they become leaders. VASI es un ONG internacional facilitando a comunidades marginados y/o rurales a empoderarse y crear futuros sostenibles. Fundado por nueve comunidades de la Amazonia Peruana, estudiantes, y científicos estamos creando un red global para que comunidades por cualquier parte del mundo tienen acceso a los recursos que se necesita para implementar soluciones locales y ser voces poderosos en conversaciones globales. Nuestro enfoque primaria es la conservación de ecosistemas vulnerables y mejorar la calidad de vida.
