Vasowatch is developing a non-invasive wearable, that continuously monitors a mother's photoplethysmography (PPG ‘green light') data in order to assess and communicate to the clinical care team the current risk of a woman having postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) during labor and birth. PPH occurs in 5% of all births, but 40% are in low risk women. Vasowatch is deploying decision support technology to obstetrics teams to improve outcomes for all women.
