Vauxhall One is the Business Improvement District (BID) for Vauxhall.Vauxhall One is owned, funded and led by local businesses in Vauxhall. Like all other BIDs our principal income source comes from a levy on eligible businesses in our BID area. This revenue is ring-fenced for the area in which it is collected and spent on a number of projects for the benefit of local businesses. By working together businesses in Vauxhall will be able to invest nearly £4million directly into improving Vauxhall over five years. We are focusing on four key areas to help improve Vauxhall:Vauxhall Safe: Aims to reduce street crime and antisocial behaviour throughout the BID area. Vauxhall Together: Helping to build long-term mutually beneficial relationships between businesses and the community.Vauxhall Day & Night: Promotes Vauxhall's day and night time economies to a wide audience, as well as running a number of events throughout the year, with the aim of establishing Vauxhall as a destination in London. Vauxhall Change: Is working to transform the public realm in Vauxhall, this includes a large sustainable urban greening project and regeneration of Vauxhall's rail arches. All services provided the BID are additional to those provided by the council and other statutory providers, such as the Police.
