Mrs. Mendez is a British Citizen, holding a Green card that allows her to work in the USA. She has over fourteen years of experience in Technical Safety and HSE Management System application and development. She currently is a Principal Consultant with Vectra Middle East. Her experience in the oil and gas industry covers on- and off-shore, fixed and floating installations, during all lifecycle stages of projects, in a UK, US and UAE regulatory environment. Her specialisation is in hazard management and risk assessment with key experience in HS&E Management System application, QRA and Occupational HSE. As an acknowledged leader and motivator, she is in charge of the development of several junior engineers at her current place of work. In this capacity, she has to continuously interface with personnel and clients from varied cultural and educational backgrounds. Her expertise has taken her to Singapore, all over the United States, and now into the UAE, Italy and Korea.
