Three Decades of Growth1974 Founded Veejay Lakshmi Engineering Works Ltd. 1982 Developed own Two-for-One Twister (TFO) for spun yarns. 1989 Entered the global market with exports of TFOs to South East Asia. 1993 Setup a modern spinning mill with an existing capacity of 25,000 spindles. 1994 Setup a windmill farm now delivering over 6.0 MW. 1998 Commenced manufacture of Automatic Cone Winders (ACW) through a Joint-Venture with Savio, Italy. 2004 Creation of a separate subsidiary company Veejay Lakshmi Textiles Ltd (VLTL) with the objective of being a vertically integrated company in the textile chain from cotton to garments. 2006 Setup of a modern garment manufacturing facility, producing 6 million pieces of knit apparels annually.
