Founded in 2018, VSA Groningen aims to build and maintain a vegan community as well as to bring veganism to the attention of students as an effective, affordable and enjoyable way to reduce animal suffering and our environmental impact on the planet. It plans to achieve these goals by: EDUCATION & MOTIVATIONBy hosting lectures, workshops and other events we aim to bring attention to the problems created by animal agriculture & encourage individuals to choose cruelty-free solutions.SUPPORT & SUSTAINABILITYBy organising potlucks, drinks and other events we aim to create & maintain a supportive and sustainable community, so that it's easier for individuals to not just go, but stay vegan.MAKING THINGS EASIERBy working with the University, restaurants and supermarkets in Groningen we aim to create a facilitating environment where it's easy for individuals to choose plant-based.Join us if you'd like to be a part of the first and biggest Vegan Student Association in the Netherlands!
