Founded in February 2020, VSA Rotterdam aims to build and maintain a supportive community of vegan(-minded) students, to bring attention towards veganism as an effective means of helping animals and the planet, and to create a facilitating environment with the purpose of making veganism easier, more enjoyable and affordable. As a student association, we intent to raise awareness on the topics of sustainability, animal rights and health, educating people about their options. In order to achieve our goals, VSA Rotterdam follows a value statement that cares, not only for animal rights and sustainability, but also inclusivity, disapproving any form of discrimination and prejudice. Moreover, VSA ensures that all activities, especially the ones related to activism are legal, meaning that this association will not collaborate with organisations that are known for organising disruptive illegal actions. In that sense, VSA also vouches for non-violent activities, as we claim for no violence towards all animals, including humans ourselves. Finally, we are compromised in making use of reliable sources only to educate ourselves and our followers. Go green with us!
