VEIKI-VNL Electric Large Laboratories Ltd. is an independent testing laboratory and product-certification body. The company is member of the Short-Circuit Testing Liaison (STL), the international organisation of short-circuit and high-voltage laboratories, and is assigned to perform conformity assessment test by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.VEIKI-VNL Ltd. was founded in 1996, from VEIKI Research Institute for Electric Power Company Limited by Shares, Electrical Equipment Division. In the field of testing, VEIKI-VNL Ltd. is the successor of the Electric Research Committee, later Research Institute for Electric Power, established in 1949.Since its foundation, VEIKI-VNL Ltd. performs testing and product certification of equipment used in the electric power industry. It is accredited by the Hungarian Accreditation Authority (NAH, but previously known as NAT) as a testing laboratory and a product certification body. Its quality management system is in conformity with the requirements of ISO 9001, and it is certified by the Hungarian Standards Institute.
