VELA 2 Founded in 1993 by Patrick Whetter and Spike Thompson, Vela 2000 quickly grew to become one of the Worlds leading Superyacht sailmakers. Along the way they have worked with several of the biggest names in Sailmaking, and have recently announced their collaboration with the World reknowned Quantum brand, representing Quantum Globally in the Superyacht market. The Vela 2 portfolio has recently expanded to encompass the Cover making company "Undercover", now operating out of Alaró, Mallorca within the newly branded Vela 2 Group.
