La vela means "the sail" in Spanish. Just as a sail propels a ship through the water, a coach can support you in shifting your behaviors and actions in a new direction. People hire a coach for a variety of reasons such as supporting them when they're ready for a transition, managing burnout and exhaustion, navigating a new position, or solving other challenges. To me, coaching is about creating a space for people to work through times in their work or life where they feel stuck or ready to change and want traction. Coaching can help you untap your potential. As a coach, I partner with you to find the answers within yourself. I make space by listening carefully, being curious, acknowledging the whole person and your challenges. When working with you, I will balance candor with diplomacy; and seriousness with fun in order to help you move forward. When working with leaders, I am not afraid to say what no one else will, in order to help you move forward. I have 23 years of corporate experience working for Microsoft and Tableau on 3 continents as a program, people, or business manager for product development, operations, and sales teams.
