Machinery - Köthen, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany
In April 2017 we changed our name from VKK STANDARDKESSEL to VELDE Boilers and Plants. Velde is a name connected to boilers and boilerplants for more than 150 years and its reputation exceeds beyond the borders of Germany. We managed to establish ourselves in the international market by blending together a selection of well received high-quality products and excellent customer service. All of which is of course accompanied by our seal of quality "Made in Germany".VKK Standardkessel GmbH came into being in 2001 from the merger of Vorwärmer- und Kesselbau Köthen GmbH and Standardkessel Lentjes-Fasel GmbH. The company looks back at a successful development in steam boiler construction at the locations in Köthen and Duisburg. The first boilers were delivered in the 19th century to Germany's up-and-coming sugar and textiles industries. After 1945, both companies had a sustained influence on the development of industrial steam generator construction in divided Germany, were both among the market leaders and were known worldwide for maximum quality in boiler plant construction. From 1951 onwards, STANDARD-CONDORKESSEL conquered the markets in Europe and overseas from its Duisburg base. And the Köthen small water-tube boiler was to be found in nearly all heating plants of the East German energy supply industry. In the 1990s, the companies – which, up to that point, had been operating on the divided East and West markets – began to collaborate.Today, VKK STANDARDKESSEL Köthen GmbH is a mid-sized boiler and plant construction company that has merged the tradition-steeped boiler production in Köthen and Duisburg and is continuing it successfully.http://www.velde-group.de/en/imprint/
