Shanghai Velle Automobile Air conditioner Co., Ltdis a private owned stock enterprise, which integrates design, sales and manufactures. Relying on a group of specialists and technicians, the enterprise has designed, developed and produced compressors with various exhaust capacities, various types of evaporators and condensers、the air conditioner control system of intelligence、thermal expansion valves、 actuators. The annual production capacity will be up to 600,000 HVAC units. VELLE started operations in early 1999 and currently employs 780 staff, a New Plant of 23,000㎡ production hall will be available by the end of 2011, a research and development centre, office, tool shop, some of the modern testing facilities such as whole vehicle environment laboratory、durable laboratory、physics and chemistry laboratory、Auto air-conditioner capability test center、compressor life test and 3-D coordinate and we have nearly 200 personnel in research and design. The R&D investment of 2009 is up to US$ 5,857,000. We obtained GB/T19001-2000-ISO9001:QC Qualification in 2002. Originally ISO/TS16949 Certification approved in 2005; latest approved in 2008. We have been awarded "Top Ten Auto air Conditioner brand in China", "Key Cadre's Enterprise in Shanghai", "Technology Center of Shanghai Enterprise". We have had 15 National Patents certificates and 20 Patents application are under evaluation. As an innovative partner whose solution contribute to customer success, Velle products are mainly provided for the OEM customers as Geely, Maple, Chrysler, and exporting to US, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Australia, India and Singapore.
