The Consortium Distretto Veneto della Pelle "Veneto District of Leather" is the only legal entity officially recognized by the Veneto Region, to represent the Veneto tanning sector: leather processing companies, machines and technology, chemical processes, recycling of processing residues.The Veneto Leather District Veneto is the first Italian tanning pole, for production values, equal to 58% of the Italian turnover, with an average of 12.5bn € / year of exports, for the tanning sector alone.
