Sometimes you just need to get off your butt and make something happen. Often we sit still, wishing that our circumstances would change, that we would be recognized, successful, or influential. Or maybe it is simply a desire for adventure, for learning, to be a part of something valuable. I'm tired of waiting."A single conversation with a wise man is better than ten years of study," or so says a Chinese proverb. While degrees and classroom training have value, it is obvious that time spent with an expert in a particular subject is usually much more beneficial than a textbook. And so it is my intention to create an educational adventure suited to my interests and current business endeavors. As an entrepreneur (see my bio if you're really interested) I am fascinated by the Venture Capital (VC) industry, and hope to eventually work either as an angel investor or for a VC firm.The plan is to find two well known VC experts and spend one day a month with each for six months. As I learn, hopefully my readers will learn as well.My promise to the two VC's is that I will go wherever they are. Any state, any city, any country based upon their schedules. I also won't slow them down, embarrass, or get in the way. What I ask in return is that they be open, transparent, and willing to answer a lot of questions.
