Veratas is a not-for-profit research organisation dedicated to helping businesses integrate social and environmental considerations into the core of their operations.Veratas was spun out of the University of Oxford and is advised by the heads of Oxford's leading institutes working at the intersection of business, society and the environment: Professor Gordon Clark, Director of the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, and Pamela Hartigan, Direct of the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship.
