Vermont Womenpreneurs was inspired by a Center for Women & Enterprise workshop that Mieko Ozeki, owner of Radiance Studios LLC, attended. She organized the first Womenpreneurs group meeting in January 2018 as a monthly co-working and networking meeting. During one of the meetings, someone suggested the creation of an event that would showcase the products and services of women-owned businesses to the public. Thus, began the planning and coordinating of the first Vermont Womenpreneurs Showcase, which takes place in mid-June.
