Verra was started in Irvine, California in 2008 by a University of California Ph.D. in Financial Economics and an MBA student; the pair formulated a quantitative model to forecast emerging markets unlike any currently published. After three years of research and development, a forecasting model emerged and, following rigorous testing, produced an impressive series of accurate results.
