By accelerating nature's own biotechnology processes, Verso Energy seeks to substantially improve the performance of coalbed methane (CBM) and coal assets around the world. By doing this, asset owners will increasingly be able to shift to the production of gas instead of coal and thereby creating a viable transition pathway that decarbonizes the energy industry.Verso Energy is unique in its approach and is at the TRL 5-6 boundary at present. Pilot sites have been identified in order to take the proposition to a TRL 9 status within 18 months.
