The VBOC provides entrepreneurial training through workshops and the internet, counseling, technical assistance, and resource utilization services to Veterans, Service-Disabled Veterans, Reservists, National Guard Members, and Active Duty business owners and start-up entrepreneurs and their dependents in Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi. This program is funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration to serve as a specialized program of business and technical assistance for those veterans interested in starting or expanding a business. Through collaborative efforts of SBA partners such as Small Business Development Centers, SCORE, Women's Business Centers, and Business Information Centers (BIC) throughout our three states. We are able to assist individuals through each phase of the business cycle.This VBOC serves: Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi, but there are 18 other VBOC Offices located throughout the country.
