The Veterans Center is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2008 to educate and guide transitioning active military and veterans in four areas (1) housing counseling (2) community development (4) job training and workforce development and (5) entrepreneurship.The organization began as a grassroots endeavors with two volunteers providing tangible resource to a handful of veterans. Some of whom needed support through homelessness and other who wanted to understand how to be more employable through the translation of military skills combined with certification from industry leading platforms.Today the organization assist 360 – 410 veterans per quarter, including their families and dependents to help them improve their educational and employment opportunities, quality of life, and resources for affordable housing.Our mission is to reconstruct the lives of transitioning military members, veterans, and their dependents to a positive self sufficient outlook by being a one stop shop for veterans for guidance, education, financial independence, self sufficient, and productive in the community.
