Mission: To connect transitioning servicemembers, veterans, and spouses to employment that is rewarding and empowering.Location: Jacksonville, FLVets on T.A.P. hosts networking and education events in Jacksonville, FL.Vets on TAP: NetworkingNetworking events occur on the 4th Tuesday of the month at a different craft brewery in the greater Jacksonville area. Vets on TAP provides a low-pressure environment for its members to discuss employment, education, and training opportunities over a local craft beer. Non-profit organizations and local businesses seeking to hire or help veterans are welcome, but are reminded that solicitation is forbidden -- sign-up lists requesting veterans names and contact information are strictly prohibited -- it is entirely on the veteran to choose to reach out to an organization.Vets on T.A.P.: Morning BrewsSimilar to our evening networking events, Morning Brews occurs on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at area coffee shops.Vets on TAP: EducationEducation events occur on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at Veterans United Craft Brewery, the official homeport of Vets on TAP. Sessions will be taught by Vets on TAP members who are subject matter experts in a particular field. Sample topics include VA home loans, resume writing, interview skills, and optimizing a job search.Guidelines1. Networking and education are the focus of the events.2. We will provide an informal, low-pressure environment for our members.3. We will publicize upcoming veterans events hosted by all local veterans organizations.4. Vets on TAP can only grow with the continued support of its members. Please help us in publicizing events, and invite friends along.5.
