Vevios- safety and freedomTo meet the safety needs of these groups and based on my own professional knowledge in elderly care, my team and I developed Vevios – a wearable and mobile safety alarm that uses cutting-edge mobile technology to increase the quality of life and provide safety and freedom for its user. This is done through new innovations within, Communication, Ergonomics and Design.Communication: Vevios is one single unit, a mobile phone in a bracelet design, containing a mic & speaker for two-way communication directly through the bracelet, GPS, fall-detection and a new Voice LTE-communicating which provide an extended battery life. Vevios alarm application allows configurations; choice of alarm recipients (an alarm center or relatives), a map view and GEO-fencing capacity and more.Ergonomics: Vevios allows activation through the patented Panic-Grip, which's help prevent false alarms and save costs and time for an overworked home care. Vevios visual and vibrating feedback, comforts the user that the alarm is correctly activated and working. Design: Vevios is clean, simple and hygienic and therefore the area of use could be extended to other groups in need of safety alarms in their everyday life.
