The VIA Institute on Character (www.viacharacter.org) is a non-profit organization that systematically explores what is best about human beings. With the aid of scientifically validated character strengths assessments (VIA Survey) for youth and adults, VIA helps individuals learn about character strengths and how to apply them to their personal pursuits and relationships to achieve greater life satisfaction, social good, and actualization of potential. Through years of experience offering the VIA Survey, the VIA Institute on Character has collected a vast knowledge base on how to interpret and use the results of the VIA Survey to help individuals, teams and organizations reach their highest potential. Using this expertise, leading psychologists and practitioners have collaborated to develop reports, resources and trainings specifically designed to support consultants, coaches, psychologists, therapists, managers, educators and others in their efforts to help people understand and align their personal character strengths to their highest and best use. VIA also works with researchers around the world to advance the science of character strengths.
