Victor Guerin questions the notions of barriers, ambiguity and expectations in his representation of Nature.In the tradition of 19th-century impressionists, Victor Guerin mostly paints en plein air using oils and also innovative media. The surrounding landscapes of his studios in Normandy and on the island of Jersey, where he is currently based, are at the heart of his practice. Whilst sharing his somehow structurally unstructured view of Nature, Victor Guerin aims at subverting the lens of normativity. He is a member of the Society of Scottish Artists, and his artwork has been exhibited in London.French "Grande École" engineer specialised in the luxury sector, Victor Guerin has worked in the UK and France for the likes of Christian Dior, Moët Hennessy and Louis Vuitton to name but a few.
