Victoria Regia is a charitable organisation created to address international envi- ronmental issues affecting the country of Guyana. It will be equipped to educate and influence those with varying levels of knowledge of Guyana's environment and the footprint each citizen has on its eco structure.Currently, the increase in climate change is having an increasingly negative effect on Guyana. Our vision is to reduce chemical and human waste efficiently by imple- menting well planned recycling strategies which aims to correct the problems of to- day to give a "greener" future for tomorrow.We also plan to work collaboratively with supporting organisations and individu- als, locally and internationally, that share the same ethical values and mission state- ments as ourselves. Collaborating with ongoing conservation ventures while pioneer- ing future projects of our own, will further our cause.Such will ensure community cohesion and intergenerational discourses within and between the different sectors in Guyana.Finally, as Guyana is a developing economy, much of the country's natural re- sources are its only trading products and the daily lives of the indigenous peoples liv- ing in the rainforest areas of the country, are historically connected with that envi- ronment. Therefore, we want to work with the people to eliminate further destruction by creating safer methods of using energy, promoting the survival while protecting the eco system of the rain forests, rivers and wildlife. We want to raise the profile by creating a demand for sustainability.
