VNTR will be a free-to-access online information platform that provides all the latest trade regulations and information that businesses need to export and import to and from Viet Nam. Some of the benefits of having a fully functioning and sustainable National Trade Repository (NTR) for Viet Nam are clear. These include:• Ensuring compliance with the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (ATIGA) • Increasing the level of business compliance with relevant legislation and regulations• Increasing the efficiency and speed at which business is transacted and reducing costs.• Increasing Vietnam's competitive advantage in the post-COVID environment• Assisting Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) and women-led enterprises to harness the business opportunities that stem from cross-border trade.We are delighted to be supporting the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) in implementing this project, which is funded by the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
