HELPING BUILD A BETTER WORLD, HERE AND NOWThe word "Theobroma" derives from the Greek words θεός (theos), meaning "god," and βρῶμα (broma), meaning "food", translating to "food of the gods." Purity and divinity have always been part of our company DNA since Josée Vigneault and Jean-René Lemire founded Theobroma Chocolat in 2008 in Quebec. Back then; we understood the importance of choice too. We chose to create chocolate, the good way. Since the beginning, we've stayed true to our principles of developing and producing GMO-free, gluten-free and peanut-free Fairtrade chocolates, created with pure, natural and completely organic cocoa bases, every time. Making everything with less than 6 ingredients, we've always sold products that are good for you and the planet! Not only that but social responsibility and innovation runs through the veins of our sustainable organization too. Not just owning the first organic processing plant in Canada to be Ecocert certified, we constantly work with craftsmen and companies that have developed processes intended to preserve qualities specific to natural and organic ingredients.Getting Smarter Together with a positive force for change, we continue to evolve alongside our customers.
