Vikarus is a luxury wine label from canton Vaud, Switzerland. It was initially started as a student's project at the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), founded in 1893 and ranked as the leading hospitality management school worldwide. In the very same classes where River Soellner learned about oenology, luxury service and fine dining, he felt a disconnection between these arts and the values which the younger generations represents. Until today, traditions have been dominating the wine market and little efforts for innovations have been made. Out of this reason, Vikarus was created to challenge this.
