Harvard Business Review found that diversity programs often backfire because of unconscious bias. The receiver feels that their job ends after participating in the program and it is thereafter the organizer's burden to remove the bias. This notion is further augmented by programs which do nothing to help to develop a propensity to ask ‘why'? A lot of information is spoon-fed without allowing sufficient time for absorption and action which means that any impact that the program sought to achieve is short-lived.The programs are also, very often, designed with a ‘one-size-fits-all' approach without taking into consideration the background of the audience at hand.At Viksha we have not only identified these issues but it also has curated the programs to overcome these issues by curating age-specific activities. We have, but are not limited to:1.
