A non-for-profit charity that would send inner city youth affected by violence and other misfortune to various camps. The camps would serve to remove the kids from the often stressful environment of the streets, and give them an opportunity to break away for a short time to relax, reflect and be surrounded by positive, rather than negative role models. The program may well include a post-camp retreat for the kids to reflect on their experiences. It's an opportunity for these kids to see that there are alternatives to violence, gang life and many of the other challenges that consume them on a routine basis.
