Namaste and Welcome to ViMi!We're glad you made it to our About Us page to find out more about the people and ambition behind ViMi Zero Waste Lifestyle.Let's start this new relationship we are building here by confessing something to you. We have spent most of our working life selling (you might want to sit down for this) plastic items. Reusable plastic items, but plastic nonetheless.However, in recent years, we, Vishal and Mitali (and name givers to ViMi), have increasingly been exposed to the astonishing but sad facts of how plastic is affecting our planet. The knowledge we've gathered made us more aware of the consequences of our plastic-filled lifestyle and really has been a wake-up call for us. We believe that we, like all human beings, have a moral duty to do the best we can to ensure that our planet as well as all current inhabitants and future generations can live a healthy and safe life.This new-found consciousness is what gave birth to ViMi, founded to make the zero-waste lifestyle easily accessible to and affordable for everyone. We believe that if everyone started making even just small changes, like swapping plastic straws for metal ones, we could be making a big difference, together.Our vision is to provide everyone, the already-environmentally-conscious as well as the ones that might not yet know about how much fun a plastic-free or even zero-waste lifestyle can be, with the knowledge they need to make better choices for themselves and the beautiful environment we have the honour to live in.At ViMi, all products, knowledge and ideas you find will replace a plastic item (often single-use ones as well) and therefore make a sustainable impact on our environment. We are working hard to strike the balance between consciousness and comfort by sourcing and offering sustainable products that are also produced in an ethical way, help you in your everyday life and - most importantly - don't contain plastic.
