Hello, my name is Jennifer Davis. I'm the owner of Vintage Revamped Furniture by Jennifer. I have spent many years in the retail fashion business and have always had a passion for interior design and decorating. I attended Marywood University and the Fashion Institute of Technology where I studied color and design, merchandising and business. I have always enjoyed taking something worn and outdated and making it beautiful and fresh again. It started in my own home and grew from there. I call what I do the 5 "P"s I first must Pick the item, whether that's garage/estate sales, thrift/antique stores or marketplace. Next I must prep the item. Prep is so important as it's the foundation of a great long lasting finish. On to the creative parts, I then Paint the item with my own vision or that of the client. Once complete the item then needs to be Photographed or staged. This brings me so much satisfaction as you see the vision in all it's glory and telling a story. There's nothing like a good before and after picture to the transformation. Lastly, I must Present the item and market it to the consumer. Please come to my Studio location and browse through my selection of custom finished as well as unfinished pieces that can be customized to your preferences. I also have additional inventory outside of the Studio to add to your options. I can also finish your own personal pieces that need updating to current tastes and trends. Studio location is 701 North State St in Clark's Summit. Store hours are Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6-8 pm. Saturdays 11-4 pm. Available by appointment of Sundays. 570.351.2111
