The VHC Medical Brigade collaborates with local partners to bring clean water and healthcare access to the underserved in Honduras, in an effort to eliminate health disparities.Founded in 1999 after Hurricane Mitch devastated much of Central America, our initial effort was to provide disaster relief and medical attention.Later, the Brigade added programs that provide healthcare, sustainable community development interventions and clinician training.Now in its 20th year, we continue to build relationships with local providers and partners in Honduras, as well as develop additional stateside awareness and volunteer opportunities.
