The Punjabi Literary Society of St Stephen's College is a community which not only highlights the already hyped culture of Punjab but also encourages discussions on what hasn't been talked about enough when it comes to conceiving it.As a society, we have successfully celebrated the joyous and loved culture of Punjab through its festivals, dance and food. Bhangra workshops, Gatka performances, much awaited Lohri night and punjabi Lunch are organised annually. Whilst all these are an integral part of Punjab's tradition, defining the spirit and hospitality of the people, the region has a much longer tale to tell. In the same spirit, this society thrives to bring the 'not so hyped' yet quintessentials of Punjab's culture to the forefront of its events, creatives and developments.
